Helia’s academic journey includes pioneering research in investigating hyper-connected distribution systems. Her doctoral work, under the supervision of Prof. Benoit Montreuil within the Physical Internet initiative, applied optimization and advanced analytics to reimagine how global supply chains can become more sustainable.

In her 10 years of industry experience spanning engineering consulting and retail management, Helia has designed transportation networks, optimized forecasting, improved inventory allocation, and strengthened supply chain resiliency for leading organizations, even during major disruptions like COVID-19.

Since 2024, Helia has led MontWave as the principal consultant, helping businesses uncover inefficiencies, design and implement smarter inventory strategies, and empower their teams to move forward with confidence.
